Creative Nature Mobile Workshop with Mandy Keating: Paint, Plant, and Grow!

Join artist Mandy Keating for a unique and eco-friendly workshop where you'll create a beautiful mobile using handmade paper embedded with wildflower seeds and vibrant natural inks.

In this hands-on session, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Paint onto unique handmade paper: This special paper is crafted with wildflower seeds, ready to bring life to your garden later.

  • Explore natural inks: Discover the beauty of colours derived from nature as you create your artwork.

  • Cut out nature-inspired shapes: Let your creativity flow as you cut out forms of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other plants.

  • Contribute to a community art piece: Your individual creations will be combined to form a stunning mobile that will be temporarily displayed in the Community House café area.

A Gift That Keeps Giving: Once the mobile is taken down, you can collect your individual artwork and plant it in your garden to grow a beautiful patch of wildflowers – a lasting reminder of your creative experience!

All materials will be provided, including the handmade wildflower seed paper and natural inks. Please bring your own apron or wear old clothes as some of the natural inks may stain.
