Community Climate Ambassadors

We are excited to announce new Climate Ambassador training courses in Selby!

Thanks to your feedback from our Spring Get Together event and recent workshops, we learned that many of you are looking for climate change training and support for environmental activism and setting up community projects.

In response, we are delighted to introduce the 'Community Climate Ambassadors' training programme with Kate Urwin, the Yorkshire Energy Doctor. This programme is funded by North Yorkshire Council's Shared Prosperity Fund and brought to you by Up for Yorkshire and the Our Zero Selby programme.

This free, 3-session course is perfect for residents and local organisations eager to tackle climate change but unsure where to begin. You'll get an introduction to climate change, hear from inspiring local projects, and receive support to turn your environmental ideas into action—whether for your organisation, community, or home.
